      Dan Tauris: “This decision was not mutual. It was my decision. A few months ago, we started seriously thinking about what the next stage of the team's development would be. About when the optimal moment for this transition would come, and what the capabilities of various specialists in this field are. We spoke with Marcin and were satisfied with each other.

      Yesterday morning, I informed Graham of my decision. Implementing a change in team leadership in Formula 1 is not easy. Can you imagine how many rumors would arise if the press found out that Marcin came to our base and was inspecting the production? This could destabilize the situation. It is always important to respect the authority of the leadership in this position. All of this compresses the decision-making process in time, creating a sense of greater impulsiveness in changes than there actually is. But that is the nature of Formula 1; it always happens this way.

      Graham and I have talked many times about the fact that a transitional moment would eventually occur. This was my decision, and I believe it was made at the right time. Thinking about the possibility of creating something new and innovative, I did not want to build on what had already been in the past and then try to improve it. The time for these changes came sooner than expected, but this is not about the team's performance or the problems that arose in the last few weeks.

      It is about having a clear vision for the future of the team, about the pace of progress, and ensuring that it aligns with the owners' ambitions.

      I have great respect for Graham; we have been through a lot together… this job was not temporary for him. It was almost a four-year period of planning, building, and working out the details. But in light of the circumstances, both in sports and in the team, it is time for the next step.”
