Bottas commented on the change of leadership at Cadillac F1.

Valtteri Bottas believes that after the unexpected change in leadership at Cadillac F1 a week ago, with Marcin Budkowski taking over from Graham Loudon, the team needs to implement a number of reforms. He also emphasized that he and his teammate were not aware of the changes that occurred a week ago.

Valtteri Bottas: "I think the team needs to change something. We are just hindered by a number of problems that have long needed solutions. But, perhaps, I did not expect such serious changes.

There are some aspects that are not visible to the drivers, but sometimes it is precisely these that are related to the need for change when it comes to strategic tasks. Of course, we are primarily focused on driving, on results, and we try to provide the team with information about the car's performance. We are just doing our job and are not part of the group of people responsible for the team's structure."

When Valtteri was asked whether Loudon's dismissal was related to the ongoing brake issues with the Cadillac cars, which the Finnish driver had primarily faced, he did not rule it out:

"Probably, that is part of it too. Additionally, I also think that the American methods of team management are characterized by a more rigid and less predictable approach to decision-making than is practiced in Europe. I don't think they are afraid to make sudden personnel changes if they see that it could have a positive effect in the future.

Of course, it is regrettable that it had to be Graham who left, as he is primarily my friend. Furthermore, I believe he did a great job organizing the team and preparing it for the first race, and for that, I am ready to take my hat off to him."
