On August 25, the FIA will consider the appeals from Red Bull and McLaren.
Next week, the FIA will consider the appeals from Red Bull and McLaren regarding the penalties imposed on Gasly during the Monaco race, which were later overturned. Like many drivers, Gasly received two time penalties for speeding in the pit lane. Other drivers served their penalties during the Grand Prix, while Pierre was given time added after the finish. After the race, the Alpine team filed a protest, which the stewards upheld, noting that the length of the pit lane, and thus the speed, was measured incorrectly. As a result, Gasly moved up to third place in the final classification, ahead of Red Bull's Isaac Hajar and McLaren's Oscar Piastri, who served a penalty during the race. By the decision of the panel of judges and at the request of the parties for the sake of confidentiality, the hearing will be closed to the public, media, and any individuals not authorized to attend.
