After the race, the Alpine team filed a protest, which the stewards upheld, noting that the length of the pit lane, and thus the speed, was measured incorrectly. As a result, Gasly moved up to third place in the final classification, ahead of Red Bull's Isaac Hajar and McLaren's Oscar Piastri, who served a penalty during the race.
