Verstappen will stay at Red Bull until 2030.
Max Verstappen will continue to race for Red Bull Racing until the end of 2030 – the team confirmed this ahead of the Dutch Grand Prix. As emphasized in the newly released press release, he plays a defining role in the history, identity, and success of Red Bull Racing… Together they have won four titles, two Constructors' Cups, and achieved 71 victories, creating many memorable moments that have entered the history of modern Formula 1. The new agreements between the driver and his team indicate that they share a common vision for future development. Laurent Mekies, Executive Director and Head of Red Bull Racing: “Max remains with us – we will continue to collaborate with the best driver in the championship, and this is great news for us, for all of Formula 1, and for the world of motorsport as a whole. From the very beginning, Max has embodied everything that distinguishes Red Bull Racing – an uncompromising pursuit of victory, unwavering determination, and courage. His influence on the team and the entire history of Red Bull's motorsport projects has been truly revolutionary and laid the foundation for all our shared achievements. The decision to continue moving forward together speaks to the mutual trust that Max and the team have built over many years, and his belief in our people, our culture, and our vision for the future. Forged in the battles for championship victories, these relationships only grow stronger, and this is one of the brightest success stories in Formula 1. But it continues, with many victories ahead, and we can still achieve a lot and write new pages in this story.” Max Verstappen: “I am very happy to extend this contract. Our team has the best people, and I look forward to continuing to work with everyone so that we can return to the top. This remains the ultimate goal for all of us, and we will continue to strive for it. I want to thank Red Bull, Laurent, and everyone at Red Bull Racing for their trust. I have always said: this team is like a second family to me, and I feel at home here. I joined this team hoping to win races. We have achieved a lot, and it’s just wonderful, as we share memories of many incredibly beautiful moments, and together we have won four championships. I have always wanted to continue collaborating with the team I have raced for throughout my career, and I have a very special relationship with that. Over the past year, we have worked well with Laurent, everyone in Milton Keynes believes in the success of our project, and I look forward to the next chapter, where we will again fight for victories in races and championships and continue to shape the future of the team. I also want to note that this statement is made during the last Grand Prix in Zandvoort, which is important to me in its own way. I hope that at this final race we can put on a truly spectacular show for the fans.”
