Bortoleto: Ninth place is our maximum for today.
In Zandvoort, Gabriel Bortoleto reached the qualifying final for the fourth time this season, where he showed the ninth fastest time and stated that he is satisfied with the car. His Audi teammate Nico Hülkenberg recorded the fourteenth fastest time and admitted that he has not yet managed to find the right rhythm this weekend. Gabriel Bortoleto (9th): "It was a challenging but amazing qualifying session. I had some issues in the first session and almost missed out on further competition, but I kept my composure and put together a lap when it mattered. In the end, I made it into the top ten. Ninth place is our maximum for today, and I am very pleased that I squeezed everything out of the car. Reflecting on the sprint, I am quite satisfied with the pace, although we were a bit short of making up positions. If I can get a good start tomorrow, there will be a chance to fight for a good result." Nico Hülkenberg (13th): "Not the easiest weekend for our team. I had issues with the power unit at the start of the sprint, so I had no chance to compete. Nevertheless, we managed to resolve the issue before qualifying. I am not dissatisfied with my lap, although in the final attempt I was hindered by a tailwind in the first corner, which cost me a bit of time. Otherwise, I had a clean lap. Rhythm and confidence are extremely important on this track, and I have not managed to find them throughout the weekend."
