Lando Norris: I attacked with all my might.

Lando Norris: I attacked with all my might.

Lando Norris won the qualifying for the Dutch Grand Prix and will start from pole for the second consecutive race. The McLaren driver said that after the sprint, the team adjusted the settings, and because of this, he felt confident in the car and was able to attack more aggressively.

Oscar Piastri qualified fourth, 0.142 seconds behind his teammate.

Lando Norris (1st): "To be honest, I'm a bit surprised, although I had a good lap. I pushed as hard as I could since the competition is very tight, and every hundredth could make a decisive difference.

We managed to turn things around compared to this morning when we faced difficulties in the sprint. In qualifying, the car felt more confident. Thanks to the team, which did a great job trying to extract even more from the car. This definitely helped me.

Before qualifying, it was clear that we needed to change something in the settings. We made some minor adjustments, but nothing that would allow us to gain one or two tenths, but it was enough for me to feel much more confident in the car, which is needed in Zandvoort to attack aggressively. We managed to do that today, and it paid off.

I'm looking forward to the race, which is usually one of the best of the season thanks to the fans. I hope we can delight them with a great show, and the final race in Zandvoort will be memorable. We will miss this atmosphere, so have fun and enjoy tomorrow!"

Oscar Piastri (4th): "It would have been better if I had started a few positions higher, but everyone says that after every qualifying session. I'm quite satisfied with the result.

To be honest, I expected the gap to be smaller, but that's how it goes. However, this weekend I'm much happier with the car's behavior and feel more confident, even if that doesn't show in the final result.

After the sprint, we made a few changes to the settings. I hope we perform stronger tomorrow, but we'll see."
