On Saturday before the qualifying of the Dutch Grand Prix, the power unit components were changed on Nico Hülkenberg's car. Audi mechanics installed a new internal combustion engine, a new turbocharger, a new exhaust system, and new peripheral components on the German driver's car. All replacements were within the allowed limits, so Nico was not penalized.
