Hamilton issues an apology following his criticism of Ferrari.

      Lewis Hamilton has expressed regret for his frustrated radio and television remarks following the Dutch Grand Prix, where he was openly irritated by Ferrari's management of team orders. The seven-time world champion had voiced his discontent multiple times while stuck behind Charles Leclerc, particularly after witnessing Mercedes perform a late position change between Kimi Antonelli and George Russell. Once Leclerc finally pitted, Hamilton sarcastically remarked on the radio: "A great way of wasting time guys, good job." Later, after Ferrari decided to keep him out, he inquired, "Are you using me as a guinea pig or what?" He was particularly critical of Ferrari's claim that bad luck influenced the outcome, stating, "We weren’t unlucky! We lost time earlier on and that cost us P3." Timo Glock echoed Hamilton’s sentiments, saying, "Hamilton is right," during an interview with Sky Deutschland. "Mercedes is implementing it; they let Antonelli pass George Russell. Ferrari should have done the same at that point." Nico Rosberg also labeled Mercedes’ own order as "terrible" for Russell, yet acknowledged that refusing the swap could jeopardize both podium finishes. Hamilton has since softened his public remarks, saying, "I’ve listened back to some of my radio and TV comments. In the heat of the moment, frustration can emerge, especially when you care as much as I do. But that wasn’t my best self. I take responsibility for that, and I’ll improve." Ferrari's team principal, Frederic Vasseur, recognized that the team's execution was not flawless. "We probably could have done better," the Frenchman admitted. "However, it was also challenging to explain the situation to Lewis over the radio without disclosing our strategy to our competitors." Meanwhile, Leclerc dismissed any notion of a deeper conflict, stating, "These are normal discussions during a race. It might seem worse from the outside."
