Norman Nato tested a Formula 1 car for the first time.

34-year-old Frenchman Norman Nato has participated in several racing series, but he only tested a Formula 1 car today at Ferrari's tests in Mugello. The program was intense; on the first day of testing in TPC format (cars from previous years), four drivers took turns behind the wheel of the Ferrari SF-25. In the morning, Rafael Camara kicked off the program – Scuderia is preparing him for tests with Haas F1, where his contract for the next season may be decided. Then Nato took the wheel – this year he joined the group of Ferrari simulator drivers. One of his tasks has been to improve the correlation between the simulator and the real car's behavior on the track. Nato's experience and knowledge in managing hybrid systems, gained in Formula E, provided Ferrari with another useful area of expertise during development. After Nato, the Ferrari tests continued with Antonio Fuoco and Dino Beganovic. Tomorrow, the second day of testing will take place in Mugello.
