Bottas: The problem with the brakes is not completely resolved.

      In the seven previous stages of the season, Valtteri Bottas has failed to finish five times for various technical reasons; nevertheless, he remains positive and insists that the Cadillac team has already managed to solve some of the problems.

      Valtteri Bottas: "Motivation is always high, especially since, in my opinion, during the previous weekend in Zandvoort, we figured out a few things for ourselves, after which we managed to fix a new issue related to the rear wing actuator. We found a solution and will test it in Monza and make another attempt.

      At the previous stage, we were very close to finishing, but I hope we can achieve that in Italy. Monza is a completely different track, uniquely challenging in terms of setup choices regarding downforce levels. It's hard to predict what we will achieve here, but we will try and put in maximum effort.

      As for the braking issue that has been hindering us, while we are close to a solution, the team hasn't fully resolved it yet. In theory, if the calculations are correct, everything should be fine on this track, but the main difficulties are related to insufficient cooling from the oncoming airflow – partly due to a design flaw.

      We are trying to solve the problem and have already managed to increase the airflow by 15-20 percent compared to the beginning of the season, but we understand that for a track like Marina Bay in Singapore, we still need to improve brake cooling efficiency. However, we believe that there should be no issues in Monza."
