Italian Grand Prix: Power Unit Components
This year, during the season, teams can use four internal combustion engines (ICE), four turbochargers (TC), four MGU-Ks, three energy storage units (ES), three control electronics units (CE), and six ancillary components (ANC) without penalty. Installing the first component exceeding these limits results in a loss of 10 grid places. Installing the second and subsequent components results in a loss of five places. If the penalty exceeds 15 positions, the driver starts from the last row. If multiple drivers receive such penalties, the starting position depends on the qualifying results. The replacement of exhaust systems (EXN) is also limited – only four can be used per season, and subsequent replacements incur a similar penalty.
