      Briatore named this judge, an American of Italian descent – Filippo Marciano, adding that all members of the International Appeals Court must be absolutely independent and impartial.

      Since Andrea Stella, the head of the McLaren team, also participated in this press conference, he immediately responded to such accusations:

      "I believe that this press conference is taking on a character that is very offensive to McLaren, to the reputation of a team that deserves great respect. And if someone makes accusations that sound very serious, they will have to answer for their words spoken publicly.

      The hearings in the Appeals Court met the highest standards, and its decisions cannot be questioned."
