Franco Colapinto: It was very hot all day.

      On Friday, three Alpine drivers took to the track – in the morning, Paul Aron got behind the wheel of Pierre Gasly's car, and in the afternoon, the two main drivers worked…

      Franco Colapinto (11th): "An interesting Friday. The results were tight all day, even the slightest changes in setup can affect the position in the standings. In the first practice on Medium tires, I found myself in the top five, but switching to Soft presented difficulties, although we understood that we could achieve more. In the second practice, the car lacked grip, especially at the apexes – we need to understand why this happened. Perhaps it’s all about the weather – it was very hot all day. I’m feeling optimistic, let’s see what we can achieve in qualifying."

      Pierre Gasly (14th): "For me, Friday was unusual – in the morning I gave the car to Paul and curiously watched his work from the sidelines. As for the second session, I don’t think the result accurately reflects our true form. The car has great potential, I believe that on Saturday it will allow us to reach the final qualifying round. This morning we learned about the revised results of the Monaco Grand Prix. Of course, I’m disappointed with the stewards' decision, but right now I’m fully focused on the upcoming race and aiming for the best possible result."

      Paul Aron (10th in the first session): "I’m grateful to the team for today’s practice. We managed to show a decent pace and gather information for the team. The President of Estonia visited the session – that was great! The practice was challenging due to traffic, but that’s quite typical for Monza. It’s a pity that both of my fast laps on Soft were ruined by traffic, but the goal of the session was to complete our program and check all the necessary elements. After losing some time due to red flags, we completed most of the program. I hope this helps Pierre and Franco for the rest of the weekend, and I’ll return to Enstone in the evening to spend the night on the simulator, where the hard work continues!"
