IndyCar: Schumacher signed a contract with Meyer Shank Racing
As expected, in 2027, Mick Schumacher will continue to compete in the American IndyCar series, but he will change teams: today, Meyer Shank Racing (MSR) confirmed the contract with the son of the seven-time world champion.
Next season, Mick will pilot car No. 66, and his teammate will be New Zealander Marcus Armstrong.
Mick Schumacher: "I am very excited to be working with Meyer Shank Racing, and I am inspired by the prospect of joining such an ambitious team.
I look forward to the start of our collaboration, and at MSR, I will be able to learn a lot. This team has achieved a lot, and, of course, winning the Indy 500 race was an incredibly important achievement for them. It will be great to start getting to know all the MSR staff and its partners."
This weekend, Mick Schumacher will compete in his last race for Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing, and as part of Meyer Shank Racing, he will make his debut at the start in the first weekend of March next year at the event in St. Petersburg.
