Nico Hülkenberg: We are ready for any developments.

      Nico Hülkenberg managed to score points in the last two races in a row, but before the race in Monza, he realistically assesses Audi's chances and is not inclined to exaggerate them.

      Nico Hülkenberg: "Of course, the track in Monza is very different in its characteristics, as there are very high speeds here, and a lot depends on engine power.

      In theory, it doesn't suit us very well, but there have already been surprises this year, so the result may exceed our expectations. At times we were quite skeptical, but things turned out well, and sometimes it was the opposite – where we hoped to show a good result, we achieved little.

      So I try not to get fixated on any specific approach; we are ready for any development of events, but this will start to become clearer when we begin our practice on Friday. I want to believe that if the team acts correctly, we can score points in Monza as well.

      The team has managed this in four consecutive races – Gabriel Bortoleto finished in the points twice, and I did too. Of course, the task is to try to repeat this.

      This weekend, like in Silverstone, there may be a lot of overtaking, and it will also be critically important to use the slipstream, especially in qualifying. During the third practice, we will see if the drivers will try to position themselves behind their competitors' cars, or if the teams will try to organize the interaction of their two drivers so that one helps the other to gain speed.

      Audi has started to achieve something, as various little things used to constantly hinder us from scoring points. But now we should have the opportunity to finish in the top ten every weekend. For example, we have made progress in trying to improve our starts, although it is no secret that we still need to increase the efficiency of the power unit. But this weekend we have a new gearbox with modified gear ratios, and this should also help us take a step in the right direction."
