Of course, Charles was congratulated on the engagement by his friends and rivals — Oscar Piastri and Carlos Sainz were among the first. Congratulations also came from his team Ferrari, and naturally from Alpine, for which his old friend Pierre Gasly races, as well as from journalists at the Sky Sports F1 television channel. There is even a touching message from the fictional team APXGP, which features in the widely talked-about film F1 The Movie.
