Arvid Lindblad conducted tests at Imola
Arvid Lindblad, a member of the Red Bull youth program, took part in tests in Imola with the Racing Bulls team. For the 17-year-old British racing driver, these are the first full-fledged tests and only the second experience in his life piloting a Formula 1 car.
Lindblad, who will compete in Formula 2 for Campos Racing this season, spent two days in Imola testing behind the wheel of the 2023 AT04 car.
Considering that Arvid scored enough points to get a super license by winning the New Zealand Formula Regional title at the beginning of the year, we can assume that during the season we will repeatedly see him driving Formula 1 in Friday practice sessions. Red Bull is gradually preparing him for his debut, and Helmut Marko called Lindblad a potential champion.
