      We have already quoted Frederic Wasser, who said that at an early stage of the season, Ferrari will upgrade the SF-25 car, but will switch to work on the 2026 project quite early. On the pages of Gazzetta dello Sport, the head of the Italian team spoke in more detail about how the work will be structured in the first months after the start of the championship.

      Frederick Wasser: "Of course, we will upgrade the chassis at the beginning of the season. The first four or five races will be crucial. After that, we will assess the situation and make decisions on how to allocate our forces.

      If the team loses to the leaders for a second or, conversely, immediately gains a noticeable advantage, there will be no point in continuing to refine the SF-25, but I do not think that events will develop according to this scenario.

      In any case, we will have to act on two fronts (i.e. simultaneously fine-tuning the existing chassis and working on the 2026 car). At the same time, it is clear that the main factor that determines our choice will be the situation in the championship after four or five races.

      The rivalry was very intense last year, so there shouldn't be any revolutions. As the season progresses, more and more attention will have to be paid to various nuances. In theory, four teams can compete for the title, but let's see what the balance of power will be after the first few Grands Prix..."
