The FIA reacted to the behavior of the public at F1 75 Live

The FIA reacted to the inappropriate behavior of the British public during the London F1 75 Live show – when Christian Horner, the head of the Red Bull Racing team, and Max Verstappen, her driver, took the stage, they began to boo. That's about how the fans in the stands at Silverstone behaved last year during the British Grand Prix.

After the general presentation of the Formula 1 teams on Tuesday evening, Jos Verstappen, the father of the four-time world champion, said that if Formula 1 continues to hold any special events in England, Max will refuse to participate in them.

"There have been many great examples of rivalry in the history of motorsport, and that's why fans love racing,– the FIA said in a statement. – But at the heart of any sport at all levels should be a culture of respect. Therefore, at the Formula 1 presentation in London, it was extremely unpleasant to hear the hostile reaction of the crowd to the appearance of the current world champion Max Verstappen and the head of the Red Bull Racing team, Christian Horner.

Max and Christian have done a lot for our beloved championship, and we need to keep that in mind ahead of the new season. As part of the FIA's commitment to protecting the core values of Formula 1, we are fighting against inappropriate behavior in sports.

Together with all the teams, federation officials, volunteers and fans, we are uniting against this ever-increasing threat. We urge the sports community to think about the consequences of their actions related to online and offline behavior."
