In Melbourne, the audience will be able to take to the track again.

In 2023, the spectators broke through the protective barriers in Albert Park and found themselves on the track before all the riders had finished, creating a potentially dangerous situation. After an investigation, the organizers banned the spectators from going to the track after the finish in 2024, but now this ban has been lifted.

New barriers have been installed on the track, preventing you from being on the track until the permission of the race management. But when it is received, the audience will be able to approach the podium and attend the award ceremony.

Travis Auld, CEO of the Australian Grand Prix Corporation: "Walking along the track is a unique and long–awaited experience for our fans, and we look forward to seeing them at the award ceremony again.

There is nothing better than when passionate fans join in the celebration after the race. We can only hope that this year they will honor the Australian on the podium."
