Winter tests have begun in Bahrain!
At ten a.m. local time, the first day of the 2025 Formula 1 winter tests began at the Bahrain circuit. For the fourth time in history, the pre-season tests will last only three days.
All ten teams are participating in the tests, each can field only one car, in which the racers will take turns working. There are two four-hour sessions ahead with an hour break. The tests will end at 19:00 Moscow time.
It's sunny, the air temperature is +15C, the asphalt has warmed up to +24C. No precipitation is expected, but gusty winds may bring sand from the desert.
The first session is traditionally devoted to checking the operation of systems and collecting basic information. Kimi Antonelli was the first to enter the track in a Mercedes with an aerodynamic grille.
