Racing Bulls Technical Director leaves the team
A few days before the start of the new season, Racing Bulls announced the departure of technical director Jody Egginton from the team. He will continue his career at Red Bull Advanced Technologies as Head of the Engineering Department.
At Racing Bulls, Egginton's duties will be shared by Chief Technical Officer Tim Goss and his two deputies, Guillaume Cattelani and Andrea Landi.
Jody Egginton: "I was a part of the team for ten years and had a fantastic experience that gave me some pleasant memories. However, after 20 years of working in Formula 1, I realized that it was time for a change.
I have a huge responsibility ahead of me as the head of the engineering department at Red Bull Advanced Technologies. The company is currently engaged in several exciting projects, and I can't wait to begin a new challenge."
Laurent Mekis, Team Leader: "As our technical director for many years, Joddy has played an important role in driving innovation and contributing to the team's growth. I want to thank Jody for his contribution. We wish him all the best in his new projects within the Red Bull family."
