Ayo Komatsu, team principal: "Given the problems with the car over the weekend, we knew it would be difficult in the race, but it was important to finish with two cars.
It was necessary to collect as much data as possible, get feedback from the riders, and work with the new team members in the engineering staff. And I am very glad that our new engineers have done their job. The data and comments received during the race will help us refine the VF-25 in the near future."
Esteban Ocon (13th): "The car wasn't efficient enough in the race, so we couldn't fight for points. Unfortunately, I couldn't keep up with the faster cars. We need to find a reason – we expected a much better performance, but I'm sure we'll fix it."
Oliver Berman (14th): "Today it was important to drive the maximum possible distance and collect information about the car. I did everything right and I'm quite happy with my performance. We lost a little time in some moments, but when you're not fighting for points, it's time to work with the car. It's time to move on, China is ahead."
