Eddie Jordan died.
The former owner of his own team, expert and TV presenter, the legendary Eddie Jordan died at the age of 76 after a serious illness.
Jordan has been battling cancer since 2024 and has not spoken about his diagnosis until recently. Jordan's family confirmed his passing in a press statement.
"It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Eddie Jordan, Knight Commander of the Order of the British Empire, former owner of the Formula 1 team, television expert and entrepreneur. He died peacefully in Cape Town in the early morning of March 20, 2025, surrounded by his family," the statement said.
Eddie Jordan came to Moscow several times, in 2005 for the Jordan EJ15 presentation on Red Square, then performed at the Moscow City Racing show on Vasilyevsky Descent with his band Eddie and The Robbers, and visited Sochi several times.
