Alex Albon: The car was very stable.

In Suzuka, Williams driver Alex Elbon continued his productive streak and reached the qualifying finals for the third time in a row, where he showed the ninth time. Carlos Sainz scored the twelfth result, but will lose three positions at the start for blocking Lewis Hamilton.

Alex Albon (9th): "It wasn't bad! I'm glad that I reached the final again, and the car was very stable. But my best lap felt different from the others, and we need to understand why, even though the car was handling exactly the way I wanted it to.

We have managed to achieve the necessary balance. I still have problems in some corners, but if we improve in these areas, we will become more competitive.

Apparently, tomorrow we will have a rainy start, and then the track will dry out, so choosing the moment to change the rubber is very important. The race should be interesting."

Carlos Sainz (12th): "I have mixed emotions today. On the one hand, we've made progress this weekend, and I'm much more comfortable in the car. However, there are still issues to be dealt with. It takes complete confidence in the car on this track, and I feel like we've taken a step forward.

On the other hand, I lost about a tenth in the third sector on the last lap, so reaching the qualifying finals was quite possible. I am unhappy that I missed this opportunity.

Nevertheless, it is better to look at the positive results of the day and prepare for tomorrow's race. I will try to do my best to regain my positions and have a successful Sunday."
