Alonso: Suzuka has a great track, but it's difficult to overtake.

      The Suzuka race did not bring any points to Aston Martin – Fernando Alonso reached the finish line for the first time in the season, but only 11th, and Lance Stroll started and finished last.…

      Fernando Alonso (11th): "It was a difficult race. Despite all our efforts, we missed out on points. Pierre Gasly was within a second in the first half of the race, and Yuki Tsunoda was so close in the second half that I couldn't make a mistake.

      Suzuki is a great track where I really like to race, but it's very difficult to overtake here. We need to get more speed out of the car, and I'm looking forward to seeing that happen."

      Lance Stroll (20th): "There wasn't much we could do today.  I tried to win back a few positions at the start, but it was impossible. Nevertheless, we have collected information and worked with settings that we can use in Bahrain and on other routes. It just wasn't our day. Let's see what others bring."
