Charles Leclair: We are three to four tenths behind our rivals.

Charles Leclair finished fourth in Suzuka, which was his best result of the season. After the race, the Ferrari driver said that the SF-25 car did not have the speed to claim more.

His teammate Lewis Hamilton became the only driver in the top ten who regained his position relative to the start position – the seven-time world champion overtook Isaac Hajjar in the fight for seventh place.

Charles Leclair (4th): "To be honest, I don't think it would be possible to achieve more from the car today. The team did a good job with strategy and balance, and we optimized the result. But when you do everything perfectly and finish fourth, you feel disappointed.  We're at least three-four tenths behind our rivals on the lap.

The positive results of the weekend include that we did our best. Unpleasant results – the car has no speed.

On Friday, I chose very specific car settings to better suit my driving style. I think it helped me get the most out of the car, but I still need to get confirmation on another track that we're on the right track, so I'm looking forward to the Bahrain stage. But if it turns out that in such conditions, fourth place is the maximum, then this is not the best option. We should get an understanding soon."

Lewis Hamilton (7th): "I did everything I could today. Overall, I didn't have enough speed compared to the rivals who finished ahead – Mercedes, McLaren and, of course, Red Bull.

We found something in the car that made us perform below our potential in the last three races. I hope that when this problem is solved, I will start to show better results. Hopefully, we can get everything right for the next race.

Besides, it's very important to qualify well, and I haven't been able to get the most out of the tyres yet. There is still work to be done on this."
