The family was astonished to find an autograph from Schumacher.

      "A unique experience"

The Stewart family was astonished when they unzipped the bag to find Michael Schumacher’s initials on Sir Jackie Stewart’s legendary F1 helmet. During the Bahrain GP weekend, it came to light that with the assistance of the seven-time world champion’s wife, Corinna, Schumacher managed to sign the helmet with ‘MS’ alongside the signatures of every other living F1 title winner. According to Bild newspaper, the helmet was dispatched to the 56-year-old German's location via DHL. "The charity organization for dementia was initially hesitant about reaching out to the Schumachers, fearing it might be seen as disrespectful," the publication mentioned. "However, they did make contact." Corinna agreed, but Paul Stewart, who previously co-managed the Stewart F1 team with his illustrious father Jackie, expressed his doubts. "Our family has had a long-standing relationship with the Schumacher family," Paul stated. "We weren’t certain we would receive the autograph until we actually saw it on the helmet. It truly was a remarkable thing – a unique experience."
