Charles Leclair: We will try to compete for the podium
Charles Leclair expects that the new products that Ferrari has prepared for the last Bahrain Grand Prix will help the team make progress in Jeddah. Monegasque suggests that the characteristics of the urban track should also play into the hands of the team this weekend.
Charles Leclair: "I believe that we are moving in the right direction in our work and must adhere to the chosen approach. We are starting to see the results of the work done and are ready for further progress.
I think it was possible to finish on the podium in Bahrain, and I hope that three practice sessions at this track will confirm that we are able to compete for the podium this weekend. Although, of course, this is not the result I want to fight for.
Jeddah reminds me of an urban highway, but there are some very extreme turns here. They need to be passed with confidence and without the slightest hesitation, although it is not so easy to do this, because you know that the walls are waiting for you to make a mistake.
I think the new items that we presented in Bahrain should help us on this track, taking into account its characteristics. I'm looking forward to hitting the track to see what the SF-25 is capable of here."
