Mexico City is going to extend the contract with Formula 1
The contract for the Mexico City Grand Prix expires in 2025 – the race at the Rodriguez Brothers Circuit is scheduled for October 26. However, the cooperation with Formula 1 will not end there, as the local authorities plan to extend the contract.
The head of the government of Mexico City, Clara Brugada, said at a press conference the day before that "next week we will sign a contract with Formula 1."
According to the local press, the new contract for the race is for three years. Thus, the Mexico City Grand Prix will remain on the calendar until at least 2028 inclusive.
