At Racing Bulls, Lawson works with Tsunoda's engineers

Last season, Liam Lawson spent six stages in Racing Bulls, being Yuki Tsunoda's team-mate. In 2025, the New Zealander returned to the Faenza team after two races at Red Bull Racing, replacing Tsunoda, who was promoted.

In Miami, Liam revealed that he now works with former Yuki engineers, rather than the ones he worked with last year.

Liam Lawson: "After returning, I felt that everything was a little different, but since it all happened after the team change, I didn't really pay attention to which side of the boxes I was on.

It was more like reuniting with a team I had worked with before. The mechanics are pretty much the same, which is great, but the engineers I work with now are different. In any case, we all work very well together. All the information is available to both drivers, and that's right, because for success in Formula 1, both sides of the pits must work together. That's how it happens here.

So after returning, for me personally, little has changed. But this is a great credit to the team, which has done a lot to make this transition as smooth as possible."
