Alex Albon has received a warning

      The stewards of the Miami Grand Prix reviewed the incident in the pit lane involving Alex Elbon in the first part of qualifying.

      The Williams driver drove out of the pits into the pit lane, wedging in front of Isaac Hajjar. After reviewing all the circumstances, the recordings from the cameras and listening to the comments of the team representative, the stewards came to the conclusion that Alex misinterpreted the instructions of the mechanic who tried to stop him and drove into the pit lane.

      Since Elbon's actions did not pose a danger, because he was driving slowly towards the cars parked in the pit lane, the stewards limited themselves to a non-timely warning, which was Alex's first of the season.
