Esteban Ocon: I can understand Lewis' difficulties.

      Esteban Ocon says he understands the difficulties Lewis Hamilton has faced this season in adapting to the Ferrari car.       In my opinion, when a driver moves from the youth categories and immediately gets behind the wheel of a Formula 1 car, he leaves all his previous experience in the past and learns a new technique almost from scratch. When it comes to drivers with the experience we have – and Lewis is much more experienced than me – even though he's driven a lot of different cars, they've been the same team's cars for a long time.

      I can understand his difficulties, and I also know why it is difficult for both Carlos Sainz and me at Williams, but we are gradually adapting."

      With the first six races of the season behind him, Hamilton's best result in the main races of the weekend remains 5th place in the Bahrain Grand Prix, but he won the sprint in China and also finished 3rd in Saturday's short race in Miami.
