The Ferrari team was fined five thousand euros.
The stewards of the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix fined the Ferrari team for violating the procedure for working with tires on Charles Leclair's car in the first practice session on Friday.
The stewards listened to the team representative and examined the data provided by the technical delegate. A Ferrari representative admitted that the team had not followed the instructions set out in Technical Directive 003G, which states that it is possible to use a set of tires more than once in one session, and the associated procedures in the event of a change in tire pressure.
Before changing the pressure, it is necessary to measure the tire temperatures, but Ferrari did not do this.
Since the violation occurred during training, and in line with similar violations of tire regulations in the past, the stewards limited themselves to a fine of five thousand euros.
