Oliver Berman: "I'm thrilled to be competing in the Monaco Grand Prix, because last year, when I was still racing in Formula 2, this track was one of the most exciting experiences of the season. Now I'm coming back here again, but now I'm driving a Formula 1 car, and it's going to be a very special experience.
Of course, we have a difficult weekend ahead of us, because there will be unique challenges on this street circuit, but I'm already looking forward to it. If we talk about the two mandatory pit stops, then this new rule, of course, will affect the course of the race events, making them very interesting.
At the same time, I believe that we won't know how to act until qualifying, because tactics depend on which position you start from. Therefore, let's hope that we can perform well on Saturday, after which we will have to work hard to decide what and how we will do on Sunday.
Of course, you need luck on this track, but I firmly believe that it depends only on yourself – although, for example, I can't say that I was lucky last weekend at Imola, just something went wrong. In any case, "luck" is too strong a word. I don't really believe in this factor, but if you want to be lucky somewhere, it's in Monaco."
