Lance Stroll fined for losing three places at the start
The stewards of the Monaco Grand Prix fined Lance Stroll the loss of three places at the start of Sunday's race.
The Aston Martin racer was fined for blocking Pierre Gasly in the tenth turn at the exit of the tunnel. During the hearing, it turned out that the team had warned Lance that the fast cars of Lewis Hamilton and Pierre Gasly were approaching him, but the Canadian driver misunderstood the engineer and missed only Lewis, after which he returned to the trajectory, where he prevented the Alpine pilot.
This is Stroll's second penalty this weekend. On Friday, Lance was penalized with a loss of one position at the start for blocking Charles Leclair. However, Stroll, who showed 19-time in qualifying, will not lose his position, as Oliver Berman, who received a penalty with the loss of 10 places at the start for overtaking under red flags, should start behind him.
