Eleven Dynamics is Sauber's new partner

      The Sauber team has announced a technology partnership with Eleven Dynamics, a leader in precision robotics and automation, and will be able to use advanced measurement technologies to improve the precision of parts manufacturing and accelerate production processes.

      The central element of this partnership is the implementation of the innovative EDAS platform (Eleven Dynamics Automation Suite). By integrating robotic measurements directly into the production process, the Sauber team will be able to replace traditional manual checks and complex measurement procedures with fast, accurate and operational analysis.

      Carbon fiber parts with complex designs and tight tolerances will be automatically checked with micron accuracy. Important aerodynamic details, such as the front fenders and bottoms, will be subjected to non-destructive testing on the line, ensuring engineers have constant and immediate measurement availability. This will allow you to make faster and more informed decisions on setting up and developing machines.

      Eleven Dynamics, in turn, will receive invaluable information about the use of its technologies in difficult Formula 1 conditions.
