James Voules signs new contract with Williams

Team principal James Voules has signed a new long-term contract with Williams Racing, remaining in his post and ensuring the stability of the management on the way to a successful future.

James joined Williams in 2023, becoming the team's third chief executive in its 48-year history. The British engineer came from the Mercedes team, where he played a key role in winning nine world championship titles.

In 2023, he led the Williams team through its transformation with the clear goal of putting the legendary team back on the winning path.

With the long-term support of Dorilton Capital, which will celebrate five years of ownership of the team in August, Williams is investing in the right people, technology and infrastructure to return to its leading position.

Matthew Savage, Chief of Atlassian Williams Racing and Dorilton Capital: "We are very pleased that James has signed a new contract with Williams Racing and is dedicating his future to fulfilling our mission. He brought his experience, energy and strategic leadership to the task of bringing Williams back to the top of the podium. We haven't reached that goal yet, but you can feel the dynamics we're creating at the Grove."

James Voules, Team Principal: "I am very pleased to sign a new contract with Atlassian Williams Racing, where I feel at home from day one.

This legendary team has already given me some incredible memories, and we are all united in our desire to build on our legacy and win the World Cup again. Over the past two years, we have focused on strengthening the foundation, and now we have a platform to make further progress."
