The British Grand Prix will be a 4-day festival

The organizers of the British Grand Prix are finalizing preparations for the race, scheduled for the first weekend of July, and promise that this year it will turn into a real festival, and not only of speed.

The entertainment program starts on Thursday, July 3, when a concert will be held at Silverstone with the participation of such stars as Fatboy Slim, British singers Rachel Keen, better known as Raye, and Becky Hill, and the headliner will be Sam Fender, winner of several music awards, whose songs topped the national charts.

In addition, the organizers confirmed that the popular indie rock band Blossoms and a number of other artists, whose names will be announced later, will perform on the same day.

On Friday, singer JADE (aka Jade Ferwall), whose recordings have sold tens of millions of copies worldwide, will take the stage, as well as the public will see and hear Raye again.

On Saturday, the audience will applaud Norman Quentin Cook, i.e. Fatboy Slim, who was once the bassist of the famous band The Housemartins, after that, he made a successful solo career, becoming the most popular DJ working in electronic genres. And his concert will be preceded by a performance by British-Swedish singer Mabel.

On Sunday, there will be a show by Idris Elba, an award-winning actor and musician, and another concert by Becky Hill will end the musical program.

But these are only the main stars who will perform on the main stage, but the poster also includes the names of other performers of different genres who will work at other venues.

"This year, Silverstone is proud to present the best British talents to the public, bringing together many famous artists, because we are going to celebrate the 75th anniversary of Formula 1, – said Nick Reed, commercial director of the Silverstone circuit. "The cultural program is made up entirely of British performers, and this reflects our commitment to offering world–class entertainment that fans will appreciate both on and off the track."

Last year, 480,000 fans visited Silverstone over the three days of the race weekend, but this record will surely be broken in 2025.
