On Friday at Silverstone, elements of the power unit were replaced on the cars of fifteen drivers. Oscar Piastri, Lando Norris, Charles Leclerc, Lewis Hamilton, Max Verstappen, Yuki Tsunoda, George Russell, Kimi Antonelli, Lance Stroll, Fernando Alonso, Oliver Berman, Isaac Hajjar, Nico Hülkenberg, and Gabriele Bortoloto received a new internal combustion engine and MGU-K motor-generator. Oscar Piastri, Lando Norris, Charles Leclerc, Lewis Hamilton, Yuki Tsunoda, George Russell, Kimi Antonelli, Lance Stroll, Fernando Alonso, Oliver Berman, Isaac Hajjar, Nico Hülkenberg, and Gabriele Bortoloto received a new turbine and MGU-H motor-generator. Charles Leclerc, Lewis Hamilton, Lance Stroll, and Carlos Sainz received a new energy storage device. Additionally, Stroll and Sainz were fitted with a new control electronics block. Oscar Piastri, Charles Leclerc, Lewis Hamilton, Max Verstappen, Yuki Tsunoda, Lance Stroll, Oliver Berman, Isaac Hajjar, Liam Lawson, Nico Hülkenberg, and Gabriele Bortoloto received a new exhaust system. All replacements were within the permitted regulations, so no driver was penalized.
