Hamilton: No filming of the F1 The Movie sequel is planned.

The worldwide release of the feature film about Formula 1, F1 The Movie, continues, with Lewis Hamilton serving as one of the producers. The film's box office earnings have already exceeded $390 million, sparking rumors of a sequel. However, Lewis Hamilton believes now is not the time for a sequel.

Lewis Hamilton: "If I knew that a sequel was being planned, I definitely wouldn't tell you. I've seen that discussions on this topic have started, but we've just finished working on this project. The last thing we want right now is to shoot a sequel.

The production of the film took four years. A lot of work was done, especially by Joe [Cosinski, the director]. He was away from his family, away from his children during all this time, so now it’s important to pause and enjoy the moment. The worst thing you can do is rush into making a sequel.

Most sequels turn out worse than the original film, so there's no need to hurry. We won't rush, and if we do decide to make a sequel, we'll try to make it even better."
