Renault found a replacement for Luca de Meo
Last month, it was announced that Renault CEO Luca de Meo was stepping down. Today, the French automaker announced its new chief executive officer.
He is François Provost, who previously led the Renault group's purchasing, cooperation, and public relations departments.
François Provost: "I proudly and gratefully accept this appointment. I want to sincerely thank the Chairman of the Board Jean-Dominique Senard and all board members for their trust in me.
I will dedicate all my energy and enthusiasm to the development of the Renault group, which has been a flagship of French industry for the past 127 years."
Renault owns the Alpine F1 team. Luca de Meo was actively involved in the Alpine racing program, but there is little information about François Provost’s attitude towards motorsport so far.
