Max Verstappen has been summoned by the stewards.

The Hungarian Grand Prix stewards summoned Max Verstappen for an unusual violation committed during the second practice session.

During the session, the Red Bull Racing driver slowed down at Turn 3 and threw something resembling a towel onto the track from his cockpit, apparently forgotten by one of the mechanics.

This is a formal violation of paragraph 34.14c of the Formula 1 Sporting Regulations – releasing the car onto the track in an unsafe condition. The driver and team representative are summoned to the stewards at 18:20 local time (19:20 MSK).
