Brown: At some point, Oscar and Lando will cross paths again.

With ten races remaining in the season, Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris are separated by just nine points in the championship standings. McLaren Racing CEO Zak Brown does not rule out the possibility of the drivers clashing again on track before the end of the year, but he is confident that their rivalry will not turn into genuine hostility.

Zak Brown: "At some point, they will collide again, but I don't think it will escalate into full-blown enmity, as they trust and respect each other. The team is lucky to have such drivers. We enjoy the challenges, and we look forward to their continued competition.

I asked them separately if there was anything in their teammate's actions that irritated them. And each of them replied, 'Never.' So, we don't sense any tension between them, even though the competition is only increasing. However, I am confident that as we approach the end of the season, the tension will grow.

I'm glad we clarified everything after the collision in Montreal. Lando had no intention of crashing, and Oscar understood that a mistake had been made. I am absolutely sure that the next collision will not be intentional, and it certainly won't lead to hostility between them.

If a conflict arises between the drivers, we'll deal with it. Watching conflicts between teammates from the outside might make one think, 'Why didn't the team notice and prevent this conflict from escalating?'

But we will deflate the issue immediately if we sense something brewing. However, at this moment, we don't see that happening.

Lando and Oscar still have a long time ahead of competing together on the same team, so it's important that their relationship continues to develop, as they are not limited to this season; they will be racing together for a long time."
