Ralf Schumacher: I can't imagine Lewis leaving.
Former Formula 1 driver Ralf Schumacher believes that Lewis Hamilton can overcome his crisis and once again demonstrate a high level of results. At the same time, Ralf added that if he were in charge of Ferrari, he would already be looking for a replacement for the seven-time world champion among young drivers.
"I don't believe that Lewis will hang up his helmet and quit – I simply can't imagine it," Ralf shared on Sky Sport Germany. "Lewis is forty years old, and he has certain demands, primarily financial, which are very high. The question is how long he can maintain his high level.
I believe Lewis is still good. But is his level as good as we're used to? Nobody knows.
If I were a team principal, I would focus on the future and put a young driver with great potential behind the wheel who hasn't reached the peak of their form yet.
Oliver Berman is doing great, Isaac Hadjar is doing well, Kimi Antonelli is performing well when the car suits him. And, of course, Gabriele Bortoleto. You can say that there is something special in these four drivers. Or, for example, Alex Dunne and Arvid Lindblad put in great efforts. I would bet on the future."
