Ocon: At Monza you have to trust the brakes.
Haas F1 have scored points in Monza only once, but they are looking to the Italian Grand Prix with optimism…
Ayo Komatsu, team principal: "After a successful race in Zandvoort we are eagerly looking forward to another home race for us in Monza. Autodromo Nazionale is a unique circuit with a rich history, incredible fans and a fantastic atmosphere, where interesting races take place. It will be interesting to assess the VF-25's capabilities in the low-downforce configuration, especially in front of the many staff who will come to the event from our design office in Maranello."
Oliver Bearman: "Monza is a high-speed circuit, with good grip after the reconstruction, and the races there are always interesting. I like Italy, its culture and the amazing tifosi. This is another home race for our design office in Maranello, many team staff will come to the track and I would like to make them happy. I have good results at the Autodromo Nazionale — I won here in junior series in 2023 and 2024, so I have positive expectations."
Esteban Ocon: "Monza — the 'Temple of Speed' — is an incredible circuit with a rich history and a great atmosphere. We'll set the car up for minimal downforce; it will behave roughly the same as at Spa, where we showed decent results, so there is reason for optimism. At Monza you have to trust the brakes and have a high top speed, and then everything will work out."
