French Bloom – the official non-alcoholic sparkling wine of Formula 1

Formula 1 has announced that, for the first time in its history, it will have an official non-alcoholic sparkling wine. French Bloom is one of the brands of Moët Hennessy, one of the companies of the French conglomerate LVMH, which has close partnership ties with the World Championship.

It is at its initiative that this non-alcoholic sparkling wine, highly rated by experts and awarded first prize at the 2022 World Sparkling Awards, will henceforth be served in the Paddock Club and other guest areas at circuits hosting rounds of the World Championship.

French Bloom is produced by French winemakers from organic Chardonnay wines that undergo a dealcoholization process using a proprietary innovative technology. Including such a drink on the Paddock Club wine list is quite logical, since among the younger generation there are more and more people who abstain from alcohol altogether.

As the Formula 1 press release states, “French Bloom is for those who make a different choice, value diversity and shape the future in their own way.”

Emily Praiser, Formula 1’s Chief Commercial Officer: “We are delighted to add French Bloom to our ever‑expanding list of Moët Hennessy brands that are becoming partners of our sport. This will make the choice of beverages served in our guest areas even more varied.”
