Daniel Ricciardo hinted at a possible return to racing with Ford.
On Thursday the American automaker announced that its racing division, Ford Performance, had been renamed Ford Racing. Apparently Ricciardo has also become part of the project, as a few hours after the renaming he posted two photos on social media with the caption: "The future is around the corner…"
Both photos feature a Ford Raptor. The first shows a close-up of the grille with the Ford Racing logo, and the second shows Daniel himself standing on the SUV’s running board.
Daniel Ricciardo has not been behind the wheel in official races since last year’s Singapore Grand Prix. But the recent social media post leaves hope that we may still see the Australian back on the racetracks.
