Ralf Schumacher touched by his initial trip to Maranello.

Ralf Schumacher has referred to his inaugural visit to Ferrari’s Maranello headquarters as an incredibly emotional occasion. With the Italian GP approaching this weekend, the 50-year-old visited the town that is closely linked to his brother Michael’s achievements. "I know a few teams, but this was something truly unique," he shared with Sky Deutschland. "It was wonderful to experience the vibrant atmosphere of Maranello. Ferrari and its standing in Italy are one of a kind."

At the renowned Ristorante Montana, where ‘Mamma Rossella’ has cooked for Ferrari drivers and legends for many years, he remarked, "It’s a remarkable place. The stunning photographs, helmet collections, and memorabilia are impressive. This made me reflect on what Michael started at Ferrari and what he left behind."

Schumacher also expressed his admiration for the Ferrari museum situated opposite the F1 factory. "It attracts over 650,000 visitors each year," he noted. "Entering the Hall of Fame and witnessing how my brother influenced that era and will probably continue to do so for a long time is exceptional. The museum director mentioned, 'Not every driver has that - he was family.'"

He also mentioned that Ferrari's current drivers frequently inquire about Michael’s favorite dish. "Then they opt for that," Ralf smiled.
