Felipe Massa is preparing for court hearings.
We have written repeatedly about Felipe Massa’s legal claims against the FIA, Formula 1 and Bernie Ecclestone, whom he accuses of conspiracy and criminal negligence in the 2008 season after Nelson Piquet Jr.’s deliberate crash in Singapore. Massa is seeking financial compensation. Unofficially, his claims are estimated at roughly $150 million.
The proceedings will begin on October 28, 2025, in London. Representatives of the FIA, Formula One Management and Ecclestone are required to appear at the first hearing. On the Na Ponta dos Dedos podcast Massa once again spoke about the principled nature of his position…
Felipe Massa: “We are preparing for the hearings. This requires intense effort from the whole team of lawyers. I will fight not only for myself, but also for others, so that people know that justice can and should be fought for.
This conspiracy harmed not only me, but all of Brazil. I never thought I would have to go through this. It is not easy, but justice must prevail.”
